Do you deliver the vehicle to me?
Yes. Delivery is one of the main reasons people book with us instead of a counter. We deliver across the San Antonio area, including to San Antonio International Airport. When you book, give us the address, hotel or terminal, and we confirm the exact meeting spot before your pickup time. If you would rather come to us, that works too.
Can I get a vehicle at San Antonio International Airport (SAT)?
Yes. We handle both pickup and delivery at SAT. Instead of taking a shuttle to a rental center and waiting in line, you send us your arrival details and we coordinate the handoff. Returns work the same way, so you can hand the vehicle back near the terminal on your way out. Send flight details with your booking so we can plan the timing around them.
Is Military City Rentals actually military owned?
Yes. We are owned and operated by people who served, and we rent to all six branches — Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force and Coast Guard — plus veterans, retirees and military families. Practically, that means we are built for how military travel actually runs: PCS arrivals with no vehicle yet, TDY windows that shift, and plans that change on short notice.
Does my personal auto insurance cover a rental?
Often, yes. Many personal auto policies extend some coverage to rental vehicles, and some credit cards include rental coverage as a card benefit when you pay with that card. Whether that coverage is enough for your rental depends on your policy and the vehicle class, so confirm it with your insurer or card issuer. Then check our rental requirements for what we ask for on our end.
Is there a minimum age, and what do I need to bring?
A valid driver’s license is required for every rental, and we do rent to younger drivers. The exact age rules, accepted payment methods and whether a hold applies are listed together on our rental requirements page, and we confirm all of it with you before a booking is final. If you are near the line on age, ask us first rather than finding out at handover.
